Resume
I'm captaincto, a UI/UX designer and developer based in Montréal. I design from scratch and then build it — and I care deeply about the gap between the two. It all started with game modding: making custom maps, then asking why everything looked the way it did, then learning to change it. That curiosity turned into a craft.
I work well solo and async: independent, shipping things from idea to deployed product, comfortable across the whole stack from interface design to backend API. Right now I'm building Touch Grass — a travel planning and outdoor wellness app, solo from concept to launch.

A travel planning and outdoor wellness app built solo from concept to launch. Full itinerary builder, interactive map, budget tracker, AI suggestions powered by Claude, 10 languages, 21 collectible themes. Designed end-to-end.
Android fitness tracking app built as my final CEGEP integrating project. Logs movement in real time, tracks steps and speed, visualises your path on a map — a focused take on what Strava does.
Personal blog with long-form writing on travel, technology, and design. Part dev journal, part opinionated storytelling. Built on Next.js with MDX.
"Do you like eggs?"
"Yes, I do."
"What kinds of eggs do you like?"
"All of them. But if I had to choose one, Egg Pam would have to be my favorite."
*smirks* "You have good taste, my friend."
I wanted to become an artist when I was a kid. I tried applying to art school, but I got rejected. Turns out the tools I needed were free all along — coding is the most expressive creative medium I've found.
